“Zim President Must Be 40years And Above” Says ZEC

The Zimbabwean Electoral Commission (ZEC) has made an announcement on twitter citing that for a person to become Zimbabwe’s President, one has to be 40 years and above.

The tweet reads: “Nomination Court to sit on 14 June 2018. Presidential candidate must be a Zim citizen, registered voter, 40yrs and above, nominated by at least 10 reg voters from each of Zim’s 10 provinces. Venue High Court, Court A. Nomination Fee is $1000.”

More than 100 political parties will be participating in this years general elections.
