Star FM Presenter Dies
Zimbabwe’s first commercial radio station, Star FM has announced the sad news of the death of one of its correspondents, Millicent Chanetsa.
The station did not reveal much about the death but only announced that Chanetsa who was based in South Africa had passed on recently.
Said Star FM: It is another sad day for the Star FM family. We have lost one of our foreign-based correspondents Miss Millicent Chanetsa who was based in Pretoria SA. May her dear soul Rest In Peace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Millicent’s family at this sad time.
The ObserverZim understands Doves Funeral Services is ferrying the body from South Africa. Millicent’s mother and brother, who are both based in SA, are coming with the body.
Doves has only availed a seven-seater bus so many friends who wanted to travel for the funeral have been unable to do so.
The funeral wake will be held in Chitungwiza.
