Hospitalized Man’s ‘Natural Death’ Takes Shocking Turn…

…Relatives Discover Deep Cut On His Forehead

A grieving family was shocked to discover an unexplained deep wound on the forehead of their deceased relative who died on Wednesday at Suburban Medical Center in Warren Park.

Nyarumwe family members are demanding an explanation from the medical center’s authorities over the 20mm deep cut on Trymore Nyarumwe’s (45) forehead.

Family spokesperson, Lazarus Nyarumwe told H-metro that the family failed to receive either an apology or explanation from the staff, leaving them with more questions than answers considering the deceased’s condition had improved and he had no wounds upon admission.

“It is hard to turn the page when you know someone will not be in the next chapter but the story must go on. It is disheartening to learn that someone is taking life for granted. It was better for the medical authorities to explain what actually transpired because I saw Trymore a day before without any wound and he had improved from the condition he was in when he was admitted two days before this.

“They failed to say sorry only to tell us that the nurses who were on the night duty had the answers and we are still to get them. It was better for them to explain about the wound upon our arrival, but they decided to remain silent only to discover the wound when we were called to collect the body,” said Lazarus in tears.

Contacted for comment, Suburban Medical Center spokesperson Paul Mangudah said only a medical doctor has the right to explain what happened.

“I am not in a position to comment about the incident. A medical doctor has that right and that is all I can say for now,” said Mangudah.

Trymore a former City Park employee under Harare City Council is survived by a wife and four children.

His body was taken to Harare Central hospitals where it is expected to undergo a postmortem.
