BEVERLY Munyoro, a woman from Gokwe, has trended on Twitter after her self-made brand of cooking oil was showcased at the GEW UK entrepreneurs platform.
Bev’s Sunflower Cooking Oil is as clean as you can get elsewhere, and Beverly makes the cooking oil from her own Gokwe-grown sunflowers. She trades as God’s Ways Investments based in Gokwe South.
Beverly producers a thousand litres of cooking oil per season. With a more mechanised approach, she can produce more.
“I loved this story of this woman from Gokwe called Beverly Munyoro who has started a line of cooking oil called Bev’s Cooking Oil,” said internationally acclaimed journalist Hopewell Chin’ono.
He added: “These are the economic stories that can get our people out of poverty regardless of the politics of the day.
“It is now our duty to help this woman become a national successful story by exclusively buying her product.
“She can become a dollar millionaire inside 12 months if properly assisted. These are great local stories which are warming to read not the endless political bickering!
“I wish her success, I wait for the media to do its work so that we can help her by simply having a bottle of her cooking oil on our pantry shelves.
