Rumour has it that the former Bafana Bafana captain and Supersport United defender is in a serious relationship.

Khumalo and Thabethe came in the wake of Ayanda short, public fling with Papi Rabolai.

Rumour has it that the couple has been in a serious affair for months now. The relationship which spans for months has been more than a secret entanglement.

According to friends of the couple privy to details of the relationship, Khumalo and Thabethe met through a mutual friend and their relationship has grown to a level where wedding bells could be ringing at any time.

Friends to the couple revealed that the couple has taken the secret entanglement public. Of late, the two have been spotted doing some shopping together and attending events together.

“The lovebirds are so madly in love and smitten with one another that they are serving us couple goals. They are very serious,” says a friend.

“He might pop the question anytime soon, and Ayanda is aware of that,”  says a friend.
